Every day our social media feeds and email inboxes are littered by "Save America" stadium events, conferences, books, petitions, campaigns, opinions, and of course ... pleas for money.

We get it, politics is messy and confusing. But does that mean we, as Christians, should just check out?

Consistent with 1 Timothy 2:2, 1tim2:2 is about mobilizing grassroots prayer to bless our President, the First Family, and all of our leaders in government.

We started 1tim2:2 to help you navigate American politics consistent with what the Bible actually says. This is not a top-down, hype-driven, personality crusade. This is not more empty words rhetorically telling you to pray for America.

From helping you get to know your leaders so that you know whom to pray for, to developing and training neighborhood leaders across the country so that you know how to pray, we are committed to empowering you to bless our leaders in prayer.

God has a great dream for our nation – as Christians, our first step when it comes to politics must always be:

“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
